ALNEOS offers a full range of support in the field of computing science (administration of your IT infrastructure, capitalization of studies) and in the field of structural analysis (articulated around two software Code_Aster and Salome).

 

Assistance may take the form of ad hoc support (on a study, a configuration problem, performance or other discomfort in the use of tools) or a long-term support (with version management, administration of infrastructures, continuous optimization ...)

 


SUPPORT AROUND CODE_ASTER AND SALOME

ALNEOS offers a comprehensive user support in structural analysis, structured around two softwares : Code_Aster and Salome.

The areas covered are:

CODE_ASTER BUSINESS ASSISTANCE

Hotline Code_Aster / SalomeWe offer assistance tailored specifically to Code_Aster and Salome, whose operation is as follows:

  • Centralization of applications and monitoring on a private website using a ticket manager (Redmine);
  • Number of days predefined in advance for the year;
  • Each application for assistance is subject to a cost evaluation before development starts.


Coverage of this offer:

  • Mechanical Domain (Code_Aster, Salome, and their tools as annexes Gmsh)
  • Specific assistance: help on a customer study, optimization of a command file, etc.
  • Support to modeling: management of a part of a study or a complete study (creating a mesh, a command file, complete a study, analyzing results, etc.. )
  • Computing Domain (computer management)
  • Routine management: provision of Code_Aster and all the digital tools required, regular monitoring of versions
  • Administration of infrastructures: comprehensive management of infrastructures based on Linux software, Calculation clusters, optimization for use Code_Aster and its tools

TRAINING IN THE USE OF CODE_ASTER

We offer training in the environment Code_Aster and Salome-Meca for all types of users: engineers, research engineers, researchers and graduate students.


Our courses are organized jointly with the 
NECS company, NECS dealing specifically on advanced training Engineering.

Formation Salome-Meca / Code_AsterTraining Salome-Meca / Code_Aster are usually organized according to the needs of users, and cover a wide range of objectives:

  • Discovery and familiarization with the use of the Code_Aster ® platform
  • Installation, maintenance, and architecture
  • Realization of mechanical studies (linear or nonlinear)
  • Realization ofthermal studies (linear or nonlinear)
  • Realization of dynamic vibration studies
  • Explore the features related to particular application fields
  • Development(materials behavior laws, finite elements, interfacing with other software, features for pre and post processing)


The training process is accompanied by concrete applications to simple cases close to industrial concerns. The objective is to guide and assist engineers in the development of baseline studies and prepare 
more complex, appropriate studies.

Most of the examples treated in this course is designed specifically to facilitate the assimilation of various features Code_Aster ® for new users. Complexity evolves progressively subjects. In some cases it is possible to adapt them, upon request, to the needs expressed by participants.
The training is divided into several sessions spread over a period shorter or longer, according to the wishes of the participants.

Introduction to the use and discovery of the code (2 days) :

  • Code structure, interfaces ASTK, EFICAS and STANLEY, syntax of commands, supervisor, documentation, website, starting and restarting studies, test cases, examples, organization of studies ...
  • Using Code_Aster stand-alone and via the pre / processor Salome-Meca

Installation, maintenance, links preprocessor, solver, post processor (2 days) :

  • Download, install, requirements, updates, installation scripts, networking, computational servers, discovery of pre-and post Homard, Gibi, GMSH, Salome-Meca, Stanley ...

Background on nonlinear mechanical simulations with Code_Aster ® (3 days) : 

  • Material Behaviours, large displacements and deformations, contact, friction, solution algorithms, methods of control ...
  • Quality Study (error indicators, quality of mesh, time steps, sensitivity calculations, tailored finite element ...)

 

 


SPECIALIZATION IN CIVIL ENGINEERING

In particularour partner (NECS) has implemented a series of training courses specifically dedicated to Civil Engineering. They are taylored to engineers and researchers wishing to control the multiple specificities of the platform dedicated to applications in the field of construction.
